# Assessments & credentials

> How exams are scored and what you earn.

Campus turns the end of a course into a credential.

## Two credential types

* **Certificate** — the full exam: 30 questions, 70% to pass.
* **Award** — a lighter exam for shorter courses: 10 questions, 70% to pass.

The course's certification card shows which one applies.

## How an exam works

* **Rules up front** — a panel shows the question count, pass threshold, and question formats before you start.
* **Gated** — the exam stays locked until you have completed the course's lessons (and any no-lesson modules). A trainer can unlock it early.
* **Henrik runs it** — scenario-style assessments happen in chat, are scored automatically, and leave a transcript trainers can review.
* **Your language** — the exam runs in the language you are taking the course in.

## What you earn

On passing, the credential appears under **Profile → Certificates** as a badge you can download as a PDF — labelled "Certified in …" or "Awarded in …". If you already hold it from a previous cohort, Campus offers a practice retake instead of issuing a duplicate.
